Great view in Muscat, Oman. Here, you can see the magnificent Muscat's sea and the old town of muscat. Coffee is a must with the good personality of a barrister. This is my recommended place in Muscat, Oman.

The place is good but I wish if it is a little bit wider, the variety of desserts are not that much. Since the place is a historical I may suggest to serve traditional desserts. I try Peach Green Tea Ice tea and is very delicious 😋 I highly recommend it to try. The service is great and special thanks to Mark.

To reach this cafe firstly you have to pay a fee of 2 OMR (this is to enter the fort in the first place) after entering you have to climb a flight of stairs to reach this beautiful cafe. The cafe is quite small. There is no inside seating. The cafe is just a small outlet to pick up coffee and due to popularity it is quite crowded and one might have to stand in line for 10-15 minutes. The seating is very very limited so it’s better to ice u the coffee and roam around the fort for a while. The view is spectacular, it faces the waterfront. The view is one of the most attractive thing about the cafe, as well as the coffee. I had an hazelnut iced latte and I would go back there any day to have it again as it was one of the best coffees I have tried. The desserts are good but in my opinion I would only have a coffee to go rather than a dessert. Everything is served in disposable cutlery as there is no place to sit down and have your food. But I would definitely recommend this place.

A charming, intimate café with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sitting there, one truly feels the heritage and history overlooking the Almirani Citadel in Muscat.

Having a coffee in the fort is a nice experience. Coffee tastes good and price is cheaper than normal Coffee shops.

Apparently this is the best place to see the Sunsetting, but we always just miss it. Still it’s really worth to climb all the 164 Steps to view all the different parts around the Fort.

Fort Café in Mutrah is a lovely little spot tucked inside the fort, perfect for a short break with a view. They serve speciality coffee and a small but really good selection of desserts. There are a few tables inside, but the best part is the outdoor seating next to the old cannons — calm, beautiful, and surprisingly relaxing. It’s a simple place, nothing over the top, but the setting makes it special. I really enjoyed stopping here for a coffee break.

Fort Café is absolutely worth the visit. To reach it, you need to enter Mutrah Fort (parking available below), with an entrance fee to the Fort of 3.3 OMR (as of today). The climb up the stairs is rewarded with stunning views over Mutrah, the Gulf, and the harbor — especially magical at night. The café offers a lovely selection of drinks, including cold brews with raspberry flavor, saffron coffee, and many other options. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying a drink inside a historic fort with panoramic views, is a unique experience. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and chatting with Malik made it even more special — he kindly shared helpful tips about traveling around Oman. A beautiful mix of history, views, and hospitality.
